For a series known for its beautiful gothic-inspired art by Ayami Kojima, this release features some hideous packaging art. That Dracula is just…no. I fear for the upcoming Silent Hill release by Mondo.

Guys, what is your opinion of this release? You guess mine -- unnecessary, and yes the art is terrible. Has anybody had the chance to listen to it? Anything special?

They even sold posters of this art (a couple of months ago), seriously, two versions, both the same with some colour differences (probably took 2 minutes to make the changes with a computer program), they called it normal and limited, they went for 60$ and 80$, or something like that. I can't believe people actually thought it was
- Good looking
- Worth the price
- Both of the above (this is extreme)
Soon enough, copies of both ugly posters started showing up on eBay. I was relieved... so it was true, most had been purchased by resellers, not real fans/collectors.

To be honest I'm interested in this one; however, I just wish it wasn't on a damn 10" record. That means I have to put the needle down on the record myself since my turntable doesn't have an automated setting for 10" records. Doing it manually freaks me out. Guess I'm not a very cool hipster.

I really do enjoy the score for the original Castlevania and yeah, I bought the damn bootleg LP because I never for a million years thought Konami would make something like this. Now that it exists I'd begrudgingly put down the $60~$70 people are scalping it for.

However, after putting a new alternator in my car I can't really buy any new toys at the moment.
