As you can clearly see, I don't like companies and their funny romanization schemes. The thing is that these two games have a scheme that CAVE is being consistent with.
Stacking title after title for "aiding in searches" is going overboard and that's something in the system that needs to be fixed; it's not consistent in the database for these reasons ("daioujou"). Maybe include products represented (we should put all the alternate titles there if anywhere) in the search range as a default setting. I also don't like the CamelCase thing for the Donpachi games because it's inconsistent. English speakers start using it, so all the localization companies cater to that? I don't really get it beyond it being a reference to Donpachi that CAVE themselves don't seem to care for (all caps is best caps). It's a real mess. Can we have alternate hidden titles that are only for searches and don't show up on the main album page? That might help.

I agree with the CamelCase stuff (although we seem not to be picky with title in product and note fields, and if there is no ), but I'm not still convinced if we should make our Ketsui albums sorta 'isolated' from average users, since searching by "Ke-tsu-i" does not sound a sane behavior to me (the same applies to Sekaiju no MeiQ). If something unusual is provided by the official party, be it a typo or strange romanization and it could potentially prevent users from using a database in some way, it's our role to guide them adequately, and the only thing we can do now is to keep a normal romaji title.
However, all in all, if nobody objects to removing Ketsui, it should be okay of course. |

Can anyone confirm for me which of the songs on this album have since reappeared in this exact, "original" form elsewhere? The INH DVD/CD release for KE-TSU-I ... does it use any of this material? And can the tracks from DDP-DOJ be found on any other albums?
Thanks anyone with any info! |

The Second apocalypse includes the original songs.
DOJ originals were included on STORM! and released as a reward on a tournament. |

Got a copy of this CD. Looks like there was a promo card that came tucked in the book. Scanning now.

Did this one came with a registration card? I never saw a copy with one but since several Cave soundtracks came with one I would like to know.
EDIT: it does Last edited by suicider; Sep 25, 2018 at 11:20 AM. |
