The iOS release of this game is entitled "Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation". Which I believe in Squenix's new canon title for this game.

yes, another thing they've wanted to do is give reasonable english subtitles to games that normally have them. ii and iii's seem a bit odd versus the other subtitles that are more or less translations from the originals, but oh well.

yeah, II and III don't jive with the Japanese subtitles AT ALL. Most of the others do (I don't think VIII did ...)
Nonetheless, I kind of dig the new subtitle names for iOS DQ2 and DQ3. I also enjoyed playing the games immensely.
