Haha, the "id=639" in the link is being parsed on our end. Maybe we should change our syntax.

Blah fixed the problem with the "id=" in the url. It's been changed to something that shouldn't overlap with other sites.
Also, I put in a hack to allow https redirects. This is now fixed in simple search and in the artist search. We're caching all of those assignment aliases somewhere easily searchable now. Note that advanced search still can't search on the kanji names. I hope to fix that, but for now it looks like my solution might be too messy. |

Would it be possible to implement [youtube] tags for the forums? Could be both handy and fun~
Also, please add blu-ray as a media format. Last edited by seanne; Oct 24, 2009 at 09:27 PM. |

I tried searching for albums that feature original soundtracks of GBA games.
So i checked the "Classification includes" / "Original Soundtrack" checbox and selected "Platform contains" / "Nintendo Game Boy Advance" in the list. And it returned albums which includes "Nintendo Game Boy Advance" as platform but are only classified as "Original Soundtrack", if an album includes some other type of classification, it's not in the results. Is that the intended behavior? If so, i find it not very practical. |

So it looks like it's only returning results that have the exact combination of checkboxes, but it would make more sense for it to find any album that has any of the selected classifications instead of an exact match.
I think that makes more sense too, but it looks like we'll have to change how we store those in order to do it. |

The AJAX quicksearch dropdown has been tweaked:
- Search terms containing a dash (e.g. "C-CLAYS") now return proper results - Organizations are now matched using both display name and full name - Artist aliases are now matched (e.g. "KEY" now returns Jun Maeda) |

Do you know why "zun" doesn't come up with ZUN the artist anywhere in the dropdown?

That's because the artist list cuts off before it gets to ZUN
![]() Names are sorted alphabetically. Might need to get creative to find a way around this. |

Perhaps sorting by the length of the title field would work, since it would give the answers for which the result matches the highest percentage of characters.

Changing between the 'Titles/Names' on the Option drop-down on any given listing seems to make the titles disappear, now.

I fixed an error that was causing the advanced search to lose its sorting if you went beyond the first page of a set of results that was sorted by release date or addition date.

I think I've fixed this now (using bitwise operations in SQL.) Can you check and see if the behavior is how you expected it to be? |

I added "Ys" to the search check since it's the official capitalization. Ultimately, we should probably just create a regex that does all 4 combinations.

What kind of image were you trying to upload? Perhaps you could upload it on the forum so we could take a look at it, and see why it's not working.

Thanks, SS. EDIT: I think it was only a problem with Flash plugin. I was able to upload the image using the HTML-based engine. Last edited by Revoc; Nov 19, 2009 at 09:27 AM. |

When you view full-sized covers from now on, there's a thumbnail carousel at the top so you can jump to other covers easily. You can use the mousewheel to scroll through them, or click the prev/next buttons.

I encuntered something a little odd when adding Links to an album.
When adding/updating an "Avaliable at" link, it redirects to that URL you're submitting after you click on the Submit button.

Yeah, that's intentional so that you can verify that the link works. For some sites like Play Asia, if there is a mistake in the link, you just get redirected to the front page, so there's no other way to check for its validity.

URLs using https (https://www.blah.com) get 'http://' prepended to them on the edit page. The redirect links don't do this, however, so they work fine.
Example here. Last edited by Ira; Dec 18, 2009 at 07:09 PM. |

Yeah, that shouldn't hurt anything as long as the link works. We still need to fully integrate https support.

That's because you're supposed to change the album classification as well. I should make it automatic.
