Can someone who owns this album confirm the Japanese text for track 8?

KARINA ~ヒチメナホ~

or

KARINA~ヒチメナホ~

It's not really that clear actually, could be either way (same for track 6).

That explains why there's so much confusion. I've seen it both ways online.

Eh, it clearly reads ヒチメナホ.

Oh, right, that's what you meant. How stupid of me.

(thought you were only talking about a possible spacing between "KARINA" and "~ヒチメナホチ~"...)

Thanks for clearing this up. We'll have to keep an eye on this entry, since it's reported wrong on so many sites, someone is bound to edit it again.

I just found out Ten Plants 1 and 2 are now available on iTunes. This is quite unexpected, given these albums are quite obscure.

What is this album anyway? How did it come about? It's for children?

And shouldn't both the ten plant albums be linked?

Just a minor thing, but would a better translation of track number two (桜の木のある庭で) be "In the Garden With Cherry Trees" or "In the Garden of Cherry Trees". Also, is there a reason why several of the translations use all lowercase letters?

I'd take advantage of the plural ambiguity and go with "In the Garden with the Cherry Tree" just cause I think that sounds nicer.

I was curious whether Tsukasa Tawada's comment would shed light on that ambiguity, and it actually does. He says the piece was influenced by his memory of a single austere sakura tree he became fond of, in the garden of a house he used to visit as a kid. So "The Garden with the Sakura Tree" would be how I'd translate it. But in any case, it seems it is indeed meant to reference a singular tree.
