I removed Nintendo Wii from the games list since this is the soundtrack for the PS version.. Unless this game used some kind of digital audio that was directly ported from the PS version to the Wii version, I imagine the music sounds at least somewhat different. If someone confirms that the sound is indeed the same, then go ahead and add the Wii.

the music is identical between the two versions (from all that i have heard.) it seems in the wii remake they fixed up the graphics but left the music alone. whether Wii should be re-added to the games field though, i don't know... perhaps it'd be helpful for people who didn't realise it was a remake, if they exist. it's probably of little consequence.
really great music in this game, by the way

I've heard a rip of the Wii version's music and it's identical. I haven't played the game yet, so I can't confirm with 100% certainty.

I made a few edits to the tracklist to match what's on the back scan ("Grandpa's Chair" to "Granpa's Chair" and "Facades & Blade" to "Facade & Blade"). I also changed the two instances of "Balve" to "Balue" (V to U). The U's are kind of pointy in the font, so it's not easy to tell what letter it's supposed to be just by itself, but if you look elsewhere in the tracklist, you can see the V's are two straight lines while the U's are more rounded.

Good changes, CHz. The tracklist is printed again on the inside of the booklet and also on the discs themselves. The disc tracklists use a more normal looking font and you can definitely see "Balue" (that's what it is in the game anyway).
I'll provide full scans of this album when I have more time. For now, I've tweaked the composer information to read a bit more like the inside of the booklet... mainly for joint-composer tracks. Less confusing for tagging this way, IMO. Also, there was extra erroneous credit for Takaki Horigome on Disc 2. Here's the old version. Spoiler:

The director of Klonoa, Hideo Yoshizawa (also known as Shuichi Sakurazaki apparently), has been tweeting development stories about the game once a week since last year. The latest chapters have been about the music! There's no real bombshell info here so far, but I'm just going to archive all of his notes anyway.

I wanted to mention that I loved the track 23 of CD1 "BEATS FROM ABOVE" with the use of the Amen Break. Without a doubt this collab of Naofumi Hataya & Masafumi Ogata is really great ♥ |
