M&M for composer? Is this right? The ending credits for this game shows "K. Yamane" for sound.

The liner notes say the following:

Executive Producer: Akio Kobayashi (Meldac), Takahiro Minami (SMS)
Director: Toshiaki Hayashi (Atelier Moss), Atsushi Yamazaki (Atelier Moss)
Sound Produce: O'Bits (Takashi Furukawa, Yoshimitsu Hamano, Funky Yasuda)
Music: M&M
Lyric: Yoshihiko Ando
Recorded and Mixed by: Masahiro Miyazawa (Sound Atelier)
Recorded at: Avic Studio 21st-23rd October '89, Sound Atelier Studio 24th October-8th November '89
Assistant Engineer: Tsuyoshi Kaizawa (Sound Atelier), Junichi Saitoh (Avic Studio)
Guest Musicians: Mitsuru Kanekuni (Sax), A-mi (Vocal and Chorus)
Management: Atelier Moss
A&R Coordinator: Masahiko Ishikawa (Meldac), Joji Niiyama (SMS), Miyuki Ajiki (SMS)
Special Thanks to: Yoshihisa Kishimoto (Technos Japan), Takashi Syoji (Technos Japan), Kazunaka Yamane (Technos Japan)
Creative Direction: Shinichi Tomikawa (Meldac)
Art Direction: Ken Okuda (SMS)
Designed by: Taeko Unno (A.D.I.)
Edited by: Shingo Kokubun (A.D.I.)

So I guess K. Yamane would be Kazunaka Yamane.

None of these albums give outright composer credits. Instead they credit "music" to M&M, which could be composition, or could be performance. As such, I have credited the games' composers for all of these and removed M&M.

Specific arranger credits are given for three of these albums, none of which include O'Bits Project. It's only assigned sound production for all of these albums, so I axed that as well and only left the credited arrangers.

I submitted a Japanese tracklist, but I didn't mean to overwrite the English one.

No problem, I re-added the English one.

Hmm, so why would a scuffed and damaged cover scan stay over a near pristine cover scan I submitted?

Your scan was blurier.
We'r not here to have perfect front scans... keeping the whole set as the same level is more enjoyable.

I would ask whether I should scan it again, but I already know not to bother.

Just scan them again and if the quality is better than what we have now (and no blurriness), I don't see noone having any objections for swapping current ones to new ones. At least I wouldn't be.

There's no need to rescan that album, current scans are great.
We need the Disc though. If you can provide it i certainly won't delete it

What's a good price to sell this at?

I've got a complete copy, but with some notable wear.

After listening to this album more regularly, I feel it is of Insector X quality, with respect to mastering.

My rating of the Meldac albums I've heard is as such:

These four are excellent:

1. V'BALL [MECG-28002]
2. DOUBLE DRAGON II The Revenge [MECG-28001]
3. Super Mario Bros. Special [MECG-28003]
4. SYSTEM SOFT SUPER SIMULATION SOUND [MECG-28006]

These three are not that good:

5. Ninja Ryukenden II - Ankoku no Jashin Ken [MECG-28004]
6. Nekketsu High School Dodgeball Club Soccer Edition [MECG-28005]
7. LUCASFILM GAMES [MECG-30002]

Nostalgia goes a long way on the Ninja Gaiden II album though. If it were more widely available, it would be one of those cult albums that a lot of people would own.

Hi, I sent you a PM, but I figured I’d reach out to you here too. I’m interested in your copy of V’Ball if you still are looking to sell it. Please let me know. Thank you!
