Where did the birthdate come from? It's not on the wikipedia page or its links.

it clearly states he was born on May 16th, in Hokkaido.

I normally don't have so much issue with taking information from Wikipedia, but I'd say en.wikipedia's reliableness is one or two notches below ja.wikipedia, at least as long as anything in Eastern is concerned. We still need a source other than that.

Sega Retro says that he was born on May 16th as well. Can't go wrong with Sega Retro lol

I'm pretty sure the ultimate source was his old RocketBaby interview: http://web.archive.org/web/200309270...anuma_jsr.html. DOB and birthplace should be fine.

I read somewhere that he composes a single in beatmania IIDX 20 Tricoro. Does that mean he still work for SEGA?

Hideki Naganuma has recently worked on an arcade game called Dead Heat Riders (produced by Namco Bandai).
