"Galaxy Genesis Kiden Mujahideen Killy" is written as such somewhere or it's random translation for Ginga Sousei Kiden Seisenshi Killy

I don't know if this is the right thread to be discussing this, but I know of a sequel LP that was released to this album. I don't know if it's part of the Roman Trip label (probably not, since the logo is not on there), but I have photos of the album. Unfortunately it's in low quality so I can't even read the catalog number on there and there doesn't appear to be any info of it on the internet at all (...well, there was one website I found that had some info but I forgot which one it was)

Unreadable, the best solution is to check ebay and yahoo auction or check back obis from other albums to discover new release, anyway this is obscure at the moment

The name is 銀河創世紀伝 バイオニック・ウォーズ, if that can help finding anything.

All I could find was an auction from december which is probably where the other pic comes from. There's one of the back too: http://web.archive.org/web/201512242...ion/t390159712

Tracklist for that album (Ginga Sousei Kiden Bionic Wars) with composers from JASRAC, a lot of these pull up zero hits on Google so this album does appear really obscure:

SIDE ONE

SIDE TWO

Found the catalog: CX-7169
http://iss.ndl.go.jp/books/R100000002-I000008636420-00

So probably released in 1984. Should be enough to submit with the info CHz found

Yeah that second album looks extremely obscure. Also maybe for both albums the product represented should just be "Ginga Sousei Kiden" since that's the title of the novel series while "Seisenshi Killy" and "Bionic Wars" are just subtitles for those particular story arcs.

I was just thinking about this lately but I think the Bionic Wars LP album is actually part of the Roman Trip series.

I know the "Roman Trip" name isn't mentioned anywhere in the title, but "Locke the Zuperman: Ronwall no Arashi" is part of the Roman Trip series too, even though the name isn't mentioned anywhere on the album. On the back of the obi of the Bionic Wars LP you can also see that the other albums featured are all part of the Roman Trip series.

I disagree. The only reason the thought of Locke: Ronwall and Yumemiru Wakusei being in the Roman Trip series came about is because the Shoji Corp website put those two albums in the same category as his 3 Chimeira Kou albums "Roman Trip" instead of putting the other 2 albums in their own "Image Album" category. I think the site just wanted a more efficient way to organize the albums so that's why they put them in that category. So I don't think Ronwall and Yumemiru are Roman Trips. Same with Bionic Wars.

I don't think it's a Roman Trip unless it says so. Utsunomiko had Roman Trip in the title all the way until the 10th and final album where they randomly drop the Roman Trip title.

I can confirm that "Ginga Sousei Kiden Bionic Wars" is a Roman Trip album.

There's a site that has the album up for sale right now (if only I had enough money for it), and they have a picture of Side 1 of the LP, along with HQ versions of the Front and Back. I'll upload some pics in a bit on the album's own entry but it says Roman Trip on there

I find it odd how it wasn't shown anywhere on the front cover, though.

Thanks TheOSTMaster, updated the entry. Release day/month are on the front cover too.

Btw, is there any chance that the back of "Bionic Wars" also reveals who arranged the songs?

So I managed to contact the person selling the Bionic Wars album and here's what I got:

The arrangers are Yasuhiko Shintani and Kenji Kurihara. The seller didn't specify which songs in particular they arranged but the seller did provide scans of the Insert Booklet (which I'll post here), so maybe it might say so in there.

Yeah it does, thanks for getting that! It says "SIDE 2-1,5" after Kenji Kurihara which might mean he arranged those 2 tracks and the other guy the rest, or they both arranged just those 2 tracks, not too sure about that. If I had to guess I'd say they both arranged those 2 tracks because of how the credits are formatted.
Also says Akira Kamiya singed in track 3 together with Kumiko Kaori.

Kinda small to read, but I think the Kanji for the first arranger is 新谷康彦? Not sure where you (or the seller) got the reading, there are several ways to read 新谷.

I think Kenji Kurihara arranged those tracks only. I don't see why they would mention that Kenji Kurihara and the other dude arranged those tracks together but not mention who arranged the rest...but that's just my guess.

I'll try asking the seller for the kanji.

Seller's message:

"The kanji is "新谷 康彦".
(Yasuhiko=康彦 Shintani=新谷)"
