Yeah, I'm glad it's finally announced. I figured it would be, but I wasn't sure when.

The May 24th date may be the date it is released on other online retailers. I forgot the information they send me is usually that date. The PDF file I got (as an order form) does mention April 26th.

Looks like many (if not all) of the same musicians here from Sekaiju no MeiQ 4 OST. Are we to be expecting similar musical styles (orchestral, jazz, rock)? A few of these players are jazz/fusion, specifically Daisuke Kunita.

The PV that Supersweep released gives a good idea of what to expect from the album.

Cool how they made one cd calm and the other aggressive. I started to really like Disc 1 at track 7. I think that and Track 14 are the best on Disc 1. Really like track 2 on Disc 2. Anyhow, I was driving to Disc 2 coming off the highway and that ridiculous over-the-top epic track (more so than 'Choir of Curse' from Chaos Legion) came on when I pulled up to a red light. I felt mildly embarrassed being at a standstill with such extreme music playing. I then almost got pulled over trying to drive fast to it (I noticed a cop trailing me and slowed down -- I was going 10 over the speed limit). Good times.

Shouldn't this be Toki to Eien ~Tokitowa~?

In normal cases 永遠 would be read eien, but substituting towa (永久) for its reading is pretty common in titles and song lyrics.

I couldn't find anything specifically about the reading of 時と永遠, but since the subtitle is Tokitowa I presume that's why we went with that.

I guess I'm just confused on that part because wouldn't it have furigana if it was a substitute reading? I don't see furigana anywhere and all the official things really just call the game "tokitowa" and there's not much reference to Toki to Eien OR Toki to Towa. Even cdj lists it as Toki to Eien. It just seems weird without furigana because there is no way that eien can be read as towa in any way (if i'm reading the dictionary right)

In PVs they pronounce it as "tokitowa" so maybe that's the only reading ("to-towa" doesn't roll too well I guess).

Moonrunes can be anything~

I think you just consider furigana as being only above kanjis or in brackets, it's not always the case
furigana can be used in some other graphical way (probably because it could seem to be weird in some logos or other reasons)

dictionary readings can help for basic tracklists etc.
but for lyrics, for example, lyricists can take liberties (like using 天 but reading "sora" etc. -I know that because I transcribed a lot of lyrics for chudahs-corner -RIP)

It sounds like Tokitowa is just the shorthand form of the game name and it's referred to it like that in most places, but that is not the same as toki to towa (or toki to eien, like i'm reading it). I just don't see it as being stylistic at all, it's not really a lyric and doesn't seem subject to interpretation. Why would they use the kanji for eien if they specifically wanted to say "Towa"? It sounds to me like they knew that Toki to towa ~tokitowa~ would sound like a terrible title and made the cognitive decision to use eien. *shrug*.

Toki to Eien = Time and Eternity
Toki/Towa = Different forms for the main character

wish there was some kind of way I could find something on the official site about it but there's really nothing. Everything calls it Tokitowa -_-

Given that track 8 on disc 1 seems to be a location, if the preceding and following track are anything to go by, wouldn't Cursed Forest's Theme sound better than Forest Curse's Theme?

I really love Takeshi Yanagawa's tracks here, even more than Koshiro's. Gonna have to check out more of his stuff.
