If you can provide higher-res scans where the artist names are linkable, then I can link these artists.

Are they that small? I don't think the color palatte is going to allow you to distinguish the names. It's hard enough to see with the booklet in my hands. I could scan the credits, but they are in Kanji... Any suggestions?

Well, the names are unreadable. There isn't a source online, so we really need the scans as a source for the credits. There are plenty of people here who can read the kanji.

I've uploaded the credits.

Track 27 is credited to Hiroko Taniyah but I see Hiroko Yah is linked... Are they the same person? Or did I read it wrong and wrote in wrong?

actually, it's Hiroko Yah 谷(ya)亜(a) ヒロコ(hiroko)
I know 谷 can be read as "tani", but in that case it's "ya" |

I'm familiar with the fact that each kanji has at least 2 sets of pronunciations. Thank you.

I have a mnemonic way to remember how it works: take the kanji 中 aka "Naka", you can remember "Naka" is Kun reading thanks to the Ks contained in "Naka" and Kun (as silly as that ;p) so, knowing "Naka" is Kun reading, "Chuu" (another reading, for composed words) is On reading |

I understood it before I read your explanation, but now i'm confused. I'd have to let your description sink in or just re-read carefully. I've only picked up a Kanji book once a couple years ago and I've been able to manage knowing some kanji and reading on my own since. You are helping me become more advanced, but I do need to go back to self teaching myself from the books.

Changed "Queen Aoi" to her voice actress, Rei Sakuma. It is also written on back cover.
Don't really know what to do with "Doreis" in credits though. Original is 奴隷s and that should translate to "Slaves", the "s" after Dorei is just there to hint that there's more than one slave. To put things in context, Queen Aoi is a SM queen. It is hinted in the anime and the song also makes no doubt about it. There is even a line in the song saying "Every man in this world is my slave"... Plus the voices of all these men getting whipped by Aoi (muchi muchi ) To me, Doreis doesn't work well here because of romanization; Slaves would be better. Or can simply remove it in credits. What do you think? |

Slave seems more appropriate.

I'd go with Slaves too in this case.

OK, I made the change in notes like a romanized artist: slaves [奴隷s]. That way we can keep track of the meaning and original reading.
I've deleted it in the performer field though as it makes little to no sense to keep this "group" like that. We could keep "Queen Aoi with slaves" but, as catchy as it sounds , it seems VGMdb doesn't keep the "with" in artists field (see here as an example). Also, some voice actors/actresses choruses are given a name sometimes (for fun) and they are often discarded it as individual names are also given (see here). |
