Default Sawtelle Japantown is no longer the place for otakus

I visited Sawtelle today. No sort of book of music stores exist as they used to. Asahiya is long gone, I know. Now it's mostly restaurants. Not worth looking for CD's at Tokyo Japanese Lifestyle, none of interest. Did you know they used to have bootleg soundtracks there. The Arcadia location still has the bootleg CD's and DVD's. Unless you are going to eat or get groceries at Sawtelle, you're out of luck there.
