Correct release date for this album is most likely Aug 21 1987, since the game itself was released on Aug 07 1987. Oricon also lists 1987, while JGML lists 1986 and GMR lists 1985.

Just going to note here (three years later ) that that page credits 甲和子 with NES sound programming, so she's most likely the K. Kabuto in the game's credits (Kazuko Kabuto?). The game just credits all three people with "music" without being more specific about roles.
