Amazon has put up a cover for this.

Also, on this FSM Board's thread there's a message by Giacchino-fan stating that the album will be limited to 3000 units. Still no page for it on LA LA LAND RECORDS' website.

EDIT:
The 3000 units thing is also noted on Amazon page.

Where did a new release date come from? We still can't order this album on Amazon by the original date, for instance.

Amazon actually states that it will be released in November 15, 2011.

Proper edits have been made, as well as added a hi-res cover.

Err, not really. 25th October was right.

I'd say the guys at Lala-land know more about their release dates than amazon.
(Besides, amazon also lists Socom 4 for November 15th - I really don't know what's up with them since it's clearly out since quite a while. I should know because I have it.)

So it seems the album has not been made available yet. Not at La-La Land's website, Amazon or CDuniverse, which also lists it for Nov 15.

So either the guy from Lala-land was misinformed or... they simply haven't met their scheduled due date.

I think it makes sense though: to release digital version first (Nov 1) and than the actual CDs.

Well, the misinformed guy from Lala-land is MV Gerhard, the one who put out all these Lala-Land releases. And the day isn't over yet. When they say a release gets released on 25th October, they don't mean it's available at 0:00, and well, that would depend on the timezone you're living in anyway. They will have this released in a few hours, you can trust me on that... really!

And you're correct, the album just became available at their website.

Mixing and editing are forms of score arranging, aren't they?

Those people can also be considered as arrangers... Am I wrong?

Our consensus is mixing is not arranging, but still worthy of being credited elsewhere. Editing is gray, since I assume it's a subset of orchestration.

No, because arrangement, as referring to music, is a very specifically defined process of taking a score and bringing the instrumentation, harmony, countermelody, etc. into their final form. It is a process that precedes recording, and a given arrangement can be played by any group of musicians fitting the instumentation.

Editing and mixing are related only to the recording, not the music itself, which exists first and foremost in the score, and not a particular rendition of it. (There are exceptions to this in VGM, though.) Editing is not anything close to orchestration, which also precedes recording.

Ah, by editing, does it mean something done in post-recording process? I thought it was the role of editing sheet music or such before the recording.

I'm pretty sure that's usually what's meant. The editor is the one who cuts the various takes together to get a cohesive performance out of them. I don't know what the name would be for the role you're talking about...
