How to rename 45 rpm Vinyl title in the database?
A simple question I haven't find answer:
Which is the best solution to rename a 45 rpm vinyl? Should we put the name of the song of Side A only or both sides? Also the name of the serie the product represent should be included? For example this, which is the best solution? |

Haven't a reply on these three years but I think we should have a solution now for a better organization.
After some submission we have some release with same same and they can make confusion. I think the best solution, especially for collectors who search albums info could be this: *SERIES NAME CAPITALIZED **side A song / *** side B song example: SAINT SEIYA Pegasus Fantasy / Blue Forever Hope we have a definitive rule... |

for two tracks ep, if they are linked to the product, I guess that both can be put in the album title otherwise one in case second track would be some (useless) bonus
for more tracks ep, if one track is linked to the product, no need to add any more tracks in the album title or if it's like the previous case there is also the problem that for vinyls, I don't remember if artist name(s) ever been added in the album title (maybe not as instinctive as for cd singles) |
