Arrow LIST OF COMPOSERS - AUTUMN ANIME SEASON 2012

Hi there,
I prepared short preview of forthcoming animes for autumn season 2012.
This is all what is available till now.
Credits also goes to staff at animenewsnetwork.com.
When I marked unknown there is no way how to get name of composer for concrete anime.
Officially not yet confirmed is based on my strong believe that written composer will be scoring concrete anime.

P.S. I can´t wait to hear Takayuki Hattori´s music for Code: Breaker

All the best

Here's some that are missing from your list (confirmed):
Zetsuen no Tempest: Michiru Oshima
Shinsekai yori: Shigeo Komori
Sukitte Ii na yo: Yuji Nomi
Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun: Masato Nakayama

I'm really excited that Michiru Oshima is back since she's one of my favorite composers. It's been more than two years since her last anime work.

Yuji Nomi is a consistently good composer too. He hasn't worked on a whole lot, so it's good that he's getting more work.

So far Masato Nakayama's only soundtrack work has been for Kimi to Boku. It's a good acoustic soundtrack, so I hope he sticks with acoustic for this next anime.

Anyways, I'm interested about who the composer is for K. The music in the PV is nice and the anime obviously has a large budget.

Oooh, acoustic! Count me in! And I'm just seeing that Nakayama also contributed on Frontier Gate.

what do you mean by "This is all what is available till now" ?
only on your blog or anime info for autumn season?

because animes for this season are known and the list is like complete (around 35 animes)
and battle spirits shouldn't be in autumn season (sept 9 is still in summer)

edit: Tomoki Kikuya is in the staff page of the official site, I wonder where you got it's "not officially confirmed yet"

Thank you very much for additonal info about other forthcoming anime and composer - I will add them to table.

Shiro Sagisu is composing the music for Magi. It will be his first TV anime soundtrack in five years.

Nice to see another big name on the list for this season.

Oh, right. I forgot about Bleach. I was going by start date (2004).

There was new music for the last season? At this point, I guess a 5th soundtrack is pretty unlikely. The anime ended in March, after all.

Thank you for info. Great news and return to TV anime scoring!

I am curious what Mr. Sagisu will bring for Magi.

That's a shame then. I never watched that far, so I haven't heard anything past the last soundtrack.

I'd say the 3rd soundtrack had the best music of the series. Unique too. Can't say I've heard of any other Spanish, acoustic themed anime soundtracks.

Also, since you don't have it added, Hayato Matsuo is composing for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. That's another good one to look forward to.

Just found that Psycho-pass will be scored by Yugo Kanno.
Another excellent composer.

This will be great season for anime music fans.

Here's something interesting: Taku Iwasaki will be scoring Part 2 of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, replacing Hayato Matsuo. Lotus Juice confirmed that he will be performing on two tracks.

I have mixed feelings about Iwasaki's recent soundtracks but I'll still hope for something nice. Part 2 starts on episode 10 (airs December 8).

Any info it it was planed from start?
Matsuo produced some outstanding work.
I really like Taku Iwasaki music and if could write something like from Katanagatari it would be great. I think Iwasaki has some great talent for strings writing - so deep and emotional music there.
If he won´t be pushed to compose some electronica-rap-techno music(i can´t imagine that myself because of nature of show) and if he will write only for orchestra there will be certainly some excellent music.

Not announced from the start but definitely planned from the start. This means they will be using a new composer for each part. The series that is currently airing will only be adapting Part 1 (Phantom Blood) and Part 2 (Battle Tendency), but the original announcement said they would be adapting all the parts (there's 7, with the 8th currently publishing).

In case you aren't familiar, each part of the series follows a new set of characters in different settings. Part 1 starts in the late 1800s in England and follows Jonathan Joestar. Part 2 starts in the 1930s in New York and follows Joseph Joestar.

Since Lotus Juice is involved, there will definitely be some rap fused in. However, this doesn't necessarily mean it will be the same mediocre experimental stuff Iwasaki has been pushing out lately. Lotus Juice performed two tracks for Katanagatari (rap in "Bahasa Palus" and vocals in "Lay back") and that was still a good soundtrack - the last good one Iwasaki worked on in my opinion.

Iwasaki + Lotus Juice on my JoJo? Can't wait. Kinda want to hear Yasuharu Takanashi composing some tunes for possible third part.

That´s good idea.
It will be great if Tsuneyoshi Saito get chance to compose for this anime series. From other composere I would like to see work on this series Takayuki Hattori, Kei Haneoka or Seikou Nagaoka. But I would be absolutely curious what should composed Ken Muramatsu with his piano based style for this show.
