Purchases from Directsong.com won't download
I recently bought the Morrowind and Oblivion soundtrack and both get half-way done with the download and it stops. This has happened four or five times now. Is their servers overloaded constantly? I expect to get what I payed for and I put in a work request ticket on their site and I have yet to hear anything. Good thing the Skyrim soundtrack is physical and yet again why digital fails in my book.

I don't think so. This is cliché, but clear your cookies and try again. Might also be something wrong from their end and not yours.
And don't worry, you'll get what you paid for. |

Have you tried using a download manager that allows you to resume? Or do they enforce some kind of session management that prevents resuming?

I tried. It always gets to about 50 mb and then it stops. This is my 10th attempt at downloading both. My downloads and uploads are fine elsewhere but at Directsong, it gets halfway and then just stops

Have you tried with a different browser?
Reboot your computer, too, just in case. That could work. |

I tried IE, Chrome, Firefox and I tried a download manager that resumes and nothing
EDIT: Also, this just showed up when I tried to download: Logged Information: Sorry, item limit exceeded and is not available for download... if you suspect an error, please contact us. I didn't clear my cookies. Sigh |

Certainly. Keep submitting a ticket to get support, or try contacting them through, [email protected].
I'm positive this is a problem coming from their end and not yours, as I previously said. Last edited by PsychoZeke; Nov 29, 2011 at 01:32 PM. |
