If I remember correctly, we don't generally credit fictional artists (at least when it comes to games). The Hope County Choir could be a performer but for the reason above I've left it empty until there are some proper credits.

It might have been fine back then but nowadays we do not credit fictional performers in the artist field - only in the notes.

Those two artists (and any others like it) need to be reworked and deleted.

In this case, "Shiori Fujisaki" wouldn't be an alias like all others? Just because Shiori Fujisaki is a character we shouldn't differentiate the albums in which Mami Kingetsu is credited as herself and as Shiori Fujisaki?

Also, Miku Hatsune wouldn't be a similar case?

If it were possible to use this formatting in the performer field, then we would.

I imagine it would be possible if we added a prefix field to the artist links page. Then you could have something like this:

Though, like with every new feature, it would come with a large backlog.


Miku Hatsune and Vocaloid in general is a unique case. It's software. There's no human performer involved. The voice samples are provided by humans but it's not the same thing as actual performance.

I find your idea very interesting. I just think we need differentiate the credits for Mami Kingetsu/Shiori Fujisaki somehow, since she is credited in both ways and this case is very peculiar. For exemple, in these singles are also from Tokimeki Memorial, but she is credited as herself.
