As discussed in Reimagining the Trusted Editor, user progression is going to be handled in a more granular fashion. This is a departure from how we've handled things for the last 14 years, so the process will take some fine-tuning. For now, this thread will serve to both communicate and document changes in status. We may end up opting to communicate changes individually (maybe by a future automated tool) instead of via a forum thread, so this may be short-lived.

Since this is the first we are using the new permissions system, please let us know if something doesn't seem to work as you expected.

You have done really well with correcting the game links, and I would like to reach a point where you could work on the game links and contribute to the pages yourself. Sometimes, it has traditionally been kind of a long road for someone to reach that point, but a good first step would be to join our discord for the reasons below.

We like to encourage Trusted Editors, or any editor on the path towards becoming a Trusted Editor, to join and participate in our discord server. There are some advantages to this:

1. Many of VGMdb's more advanced editing tools are more complicated than the public ones, and aren't so well documented (yet). Being in our discord gives you access to other editors, and you can ask questions and get answers more quickly, or even receive more focused help or training.
2. The discord has some automated tools that anyone can use. You can use this to parse sites like yodobashi/tower/apple, transcribe text (japanese or western) from images, format credits for the notes, and replace kanji names with romanized ones in album's notes.
3. You will also be able to help other editors with your expertise.
