I just wanted to describe the concept of this album for everyone's information.
The tracks on this album are performed by an 18-instrument acoustic and smaller ensemble, like a chamber orchestra, compared to the normal size of a full 100-instrument or more orchestra. More info here from Tommy Tallarico, the producer of the Video Games Live series: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects.../posts/2377431. The Liberi Fatali arrangement is quite interesting. It has a different sound compared to the full-orchestra sound that we are used to hearing. Except for the beginning "Fithos Lusec Wecos Vinosec" lyrics, there are no lyrics sung throughout the rest of this piece. |
