To celebrate the series 15th anniversary in 2010 it seems Konami will start rolling out a brand new series of arrange albums, starting with this one. I'm sure this will come as a pleasant surprise to many, since previous Suikoden arrange albums have generally been highly praised. I know I'll be looking forward to it.
It will features music from the five numbered titles as well as Tierkreis. The konamistyle page gives this tentative tracklist: Vocal Arrange: Genso Suikoden: Mysterious Forest (神秘の森) Genso Suikoden II: Reminiscence (回想) Genso Suikoden III: Searching for a Hero of Long Ago (かつての英雄を求めて) Genso Suikoden IV: Seaside Spring (シーサイドスプリング) Genso Suikoden V: A Moment of Calm (束の間の平穏) Genso Suikoden Tierkreis: *TBA* Piano Arrange: Genso Suikoden: Into a World of Illusion (幻想の世界へ) Genso Suikoden II: Her Sigh (彼女のため息) Genso Suikoden III: Midwinter Land (極寒の地) Genso Suikoden IV: Finale: Remembering the Blue of the Sea (深蒼の回想終曲) Genso Suikoden V: To Peaceful Days (やすらぎの日々へ) Genso Suikoden Tierkreis: Home of the Porpos (ポーパスの里) Last edited by seanne; Oct 9, 2009 at 07:27 AM. |

Well then there's a chance my wallet will get raped over the next several months.
Seriously delighted over this news though. It's been so long since we've gotten a series of Suikoden arranged albums! However I approach this release with trepidation because the Suikoden vocal albums are the only Suikoden albums which I don't really care for. Track selection looks decent for the most part though. Here's hoping they give us a 4th Celtic Collection sometime in the near future! |

Oh come on. I just started collecting the old arrangements and now they're bringing out new ones. ;_; Where do I take the money from?

Regarding the vocalist "Shita θ": The booklet says "shi-taθ" and also her official site splits "shita" into "shi" and "ta" (http://shi-ta.info). So, shouldn't it be adapted?

As far as I can see, シータ is supposed to refer to the Japanese word for the Greek word/letter Theta (Θ, θ). The only reason I can see why the '-' is present in the romanization is that they mistook it for a direct equivalent to the Japanese 'ー'. Note that the 'signature' on the main page of her official site is written Shita.
However, since shi-taθ is indeed the way the name is being credited here, we should go with that for this entry. I'll add it as a name variation on her artist profile, for now Last edited by seanne; Jan 18, 2010 at 09:56 AM. |

Anyone have this yet? Does it list individual composers?
