So it looks like according to the new scans, there's a different printing with catalog number S1002191. I don't see anything about it on Google, but we'll have to see if any info turns up.

Just as I listen to this soundtracks these days: are there any official composer information about who composed which tracks? A little information is provided by http://www.wowwiki.com/ on the composer sites, but sadly not all tracks.

I was under the impression that this particular album was entirely Hayes' work, with themes by the others used in his work. I thought other composers didn't show up till expansions started getting made.

I heard the same thing about Hayes, but on the other hand, themes like "The Undercity" or "Felwood" are credited to Derek Duke, while "Thunder Bluff" is apparently Tracy W. Bush's work, but the sources are unreliable. An example is this site.

Yeah, those three could easily be the work of the respective composers you listed.

Other tracks reference other themes in the series. Echoes of the Past, for example, is based on an orc theme from Stafford's WC2 (and who knows, maybe he did the track himself).

Tracy W. Bush did an AMA on reddit a few years ago, he said this:

Quote:
I only got a chance to work on WoW for a couple of months (I had wrapped up War III X only a year before, and spent the next year working on cinematics and StarCraft: Ghost), so I didn't write a ton of music for them. I wrote the themes in Darnassus and Tanaris, and I did a lot of sound design. I also did the voice of the murloc, if you're familiar with that.

Here is an exact composer breakdown. It could be verified via https://isrcsearch.ifpi.org/; also most tracks are in ASCAP (except Duke and Bush ones).

composer:
Tracy W. Bush (tracks 12, 21)
Derek Duke (tracks 10, 19)
Jason Hayes (tracks 1–9, 14–18, 20, 22–30)
Glenn Stafford (tracks 6, 11, 13)
