What Carl said. Screw wikipedia. If there were a legit, NTT-pressed release of a Super Mario RPG arranged album, even if they only made 50 copies or something stupid like that, we would've known about it for at least a decade. I'm positive such a thing does *not* exist.

Yeah, I guess it's more likely that this is not an official release. I searched for quite awhile but couldn't find much more about the album other then what I posted here, and none of it is really a confirmation of its existence. Oh, well, doujin or not, it's still a pretty good listen.

I've never heard of such a thing either, and unless it was a mini-cd included with a guidebook, ala Live A Live, I think we would have known about it by now.

That info was added to Wiki by the user TTN on September 30 2008. It looks like he's a frequent editor. If you search around, there are a few places that have it up for download, so I'm thinking he got the information from there. Perhaps it's time to get a wiki account.

Ok, I now have an account, and I'm calling for removal of the album from the entry.

Ok,so today I stumbled upon this album:
http://page18.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/w42577052 Judged by the artists involved, this is really good stuff, but no one seemed have heard about it. And what exactly is this mysterious group "GML"? Need some more info on it. Last edited by Cypher; Nov 26, 2009 at 03:21 PM. |

I remember when that album was out, and everyone was gaga over Ragnarok Online. This was back in the year 2 BT (Before Touhou).

The vinyl of Nobunaga's Ambition: Sengoku Gunyuuden is on YJA right now:
http://page8.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/h136780674 The photos are attached to this post. The catalog number is clearly visible KCS-001. Unfortunately, there is no information about the release date. If the information regarding http://vgmdb.net/album/11252 is correct, it could very well be April 20, 1989. KCS-002 is http://vgmdb.net/album/924 by the way, but again no release date. It also seems strange to me that these vinyls were supposedly included with the games. |

GML / GameMusicLibrary was doujin circle active around the turn of the century. They did mostly visual novel music arrangements. I've been collecting their albums, so expect to see them in the database soon~

Oh, actually you're right, the contents picture of KCS-003 clearly shows that.
Some strange packaging. I never imagined these would be CD-sized, but with that in mind it does look like some other promo cds. |

Found a Phantasy Star Universe CD enclosed in some artbook, on YJA.It doesn't seem to be in the database yet, so if anyone wants to try and find out more about it and add it, feel free to. Otherwise I'll get to it eventually.

The last Dragon Quest VHS (WPVL-8111) in Sugimania website isn't catalogued yet in database, but it's really difficult to find a good scan of the front cover. Also, I found the LD version (WPLL-8111) in this old auction, but the photos were missing. This version seems even more rare.

The KCS albums catalogue numbers are assigned chronologically and there is that gap between 019 and 022 which corresponds to a gap between 2-25-93 and 4-25-93. This (game cd's?) release date(3-25-93 according to any Google search) fits between these dates perfectly. Then there's KECH-1038. http://music.yahoo.co.jp/record/dtl/LAA018185/ Doesn't seem to be a video game related at all. The release date is also 3-25-93. Just some guy (http://www.audiocybernetics.com/) in the music industry who seems to have had a Koei release an album for him, KECH-1038. Huh. Soooooo...... There is a good chance that KCS 020 and 021 either don't exist or they do but they're something else......or maybe they are out of order chronologically....... Hmmmm...... |

Maybe somebody can help me with this one. "GANTZ the Musix サウンドトラック - The Music from the Game". I got this from SS years ago but I can't find anything about it, anywhere. It contains the music from the Gantz game for PS2, and even has a cover. I would think this is just a rip but
A) Seems like a couple of tracks are looped unlike in the game (this is from memory). B) I faintly remember reading in a forum this album was coming out. Any ideas? EDIT: this one definitely was a game rip. I checked and the speed was wrong (as in badly ripped). Composer is Hiroshi Tanabe btw. Last edited by Dag; Jun 22, 2014 at 08:27 AM. |

I tryed to add that album some months ago.. but i failed seing i have no reliable source talking about this album.
Covers is definitely not a scan.. so either it was fan-made, or it was a digital release only. |

Sammy Original Sound Series Here are the remaining Sammy pachislot albums, i am sure they are part of the " Sammy Original Sound Series", so far we have Hokuto no Ken which is vol. 6 & king camel which is vol. 5. I found out that Aladdin II Evolution could be vol. 2. I was not able to find: release date, publisher, catalog number of the following albums: Vol.1 ~Jyu-Oh~ Vol. 3 ~Mou Jyu-Oh~ Vol. 4 ~Savanna Park~ |

怒首領蜂大往生 スコアトライアル 参加賞サウンドトラック (DoDonPachi Daioujou Score Trial Participation Bonus CD) The very first soundtrack release of DoDonPachi Daioujou was actually a CD-R and offered as a promotional items for the score competition on the game magazine. Initially the top 50 players were supposed to get this album, but eventually all the participants received it, hence why 'Participation Bonus'. This page has the scan and I wish I could have contacted this person. We can come across another evidence by courtesy of google, but I think we shouldn't refer it here |

Also I, ahem, found this one in Winny/Share long ago with tracklists and all so we have enough info to add it I guess. Quote:

Seems to be incredibly rare too. **PSYCHIX Re-mix ALBUM more infos here Seems like a re-mix or arrangement album for Psychic Detective series. Last edited by Myrkul; Jul 13, 2010 at 05:27 AM. |
