ebten's listing for this album gives track 3's title as 琅? but that just seems to be a paste error or something, it's given as 琅玕 in the news release (also compare track 20)

Given Kokan being credited to SEGA SOUND STAFF, I'd say it's safe to assume all SEGA SOUND STAFF on the BORDER BREAK MUSIC COLLECTIONS refer to former staff (so either Seiichi Hamada or Tomoya Koga). A weird tradition with AM2 works, since Takayuki Nakamura got this treatment back in the day.
SEGA SOUND STAFF is also used for two tracks from BORDER BREAK X, one for its rearrangement of Hang out, the other is a co-credit with Fumio Ito on Hikiri (which incorporates elements of Kaga from on here). I'm thinking Kaga is Hamada's and Hide and Seek is Koga's (due to the guitars, which don't show very often in BB). Tomoya Koga is probably the one composing the brand new tracks credited to SEGA SOUND STAFF, though the only one I've heard is ELVS, which does feature his guitars. |
