DSCD-808: Cyber City Oedo 808 The Original Soundtrack

Changed catalog number from DCDC-808 to DSCD-808.

The catalog number of this CD itself is an oddity.

For unknown reason DSCD-808 has been printed on back cover sides, thus giving its official catalog reference throughout all CD databases.

One can only assume it is a direct reference to the OVA title itself, the opportunity of doing so also made easier that following the release of Akira - The Japanese Soundtrack (DSCD-7) it should have been in fact DSCD-8. Then somebody added the 08 at the end, definitely changing 8 to 808...

On its side Demon Records never referred to this CD as DSCD-808 but always as DSCD-8.

Why delete the voice cast from the notes and performers? They are played in the soundtrack.

And someone seems aggressive in the edits for this album.

Probably because they aren't credited in the booklet, and it's not specified in the notes what their role on the album is, or on what track(s) they are featured.

if that is the problem I will do the same as I did in Silent Lovers.
But then I have to point.- What about the countless uncredited artists in infos in tons of albums around? We are really gonna dismiss that?
I don't think we should.

I'm not saying to dismiss the info, I'm just saying to write in the notes on what tracks the performers are featured, if possible, or at least what they're doing. Are they drama tracks? Random voice excerpts taken from the anime? Something else?

The reason the credits were removed and the edit was accepted is just because it wasn't specified why those artists were credited.

I think instead of taking them down in then first place was a bit aggressive. Why not ask why were there?

I just don't know who does the voice for Character "Reimi" of File 3. She is not credited anywhere. I remember in 2014 I could not find who did the voice for "Sarah". Today I did. Maybe her name might pop up next year?
