These two albums (White and Blue) were just announced today but I'm not really sure what they are. Doesn't look like the Sonic Generations OST, apparently they're just bonus items you get if you pre-order the game in Japan? Official link here if someone can translate and figure it out:

Apparently, they're collections of first stage themes from the Sonic series, hence the name. It says that the two will be different (obviously), so I'm guessing that they're going to dip into most of the series, even the obscure parts, to fill out two whole discs.

I heard that the White Version will be bundled with the XBox 360 and PS3 versions of Sonic Generations and the Blue Version will be sold separately. Supposedly, the Blue Version will be from the 3DS version and the White Version will be from the XBox 360 and PS3 Versions.

As with the Blue Edition, some (actually most) of the composers shouldn't be linked. MJ had nothing to do with Angel Island, and it would just be simpler to link Sega as the artist for that song.
