Do you know where the arrangers (Cheryl Watanabe, Shinji Miyazaki, Nobuyuki Nakamura) and the vocalists (Rica Matsumoto, Sachiko Kobayashi, Juri Inata) come from?

Shinji Miyazaki both composed and arranged music for the first series (and continues to, actually, AFAIK).

Thank you. Could you also remove the classification "Vocal"? This is the OST of the first season and only contains two vocal tracks, namely the first OP/ED in TV size length. (I don't seem to be able to remove it myself)
Also, to what extent is the usage of "arrangement" correct? Sure, the TV series takes original tunes of the game and re-uses them. But it's not a typical arrangment like a Piano Collection which is explicitly labeled as such.

Question

Pardon me, but that isn't reason to remove the "Vocal" classification... Just because there are only two vocal tracks, whether they're TV sized or not, doesn't mean it shouldn't be classified under "Vocal". The "Classification" field, and any other field for that matter, is there to help provide info on the release at hand, as detailed as it can be if possible -- that, I'd dare to venture, is the purpose of this database.

And, other than an original soundtrack, it is also an arrangement because Shinji Miyazaki made orchestrated arrangements--pardon the redundancy--based on the music composed by Junichi Masuda for the first games.

There is nothing wrong with the classifications attributed to this release.

"Use the Vocal classification if the album contains several vocals, or is a vocal/character song album. Do not use it if an Original Soundtrack contains 1 or 2 OP/ED themes."
That's what it says when adding a new album.

Either you remove this sentence or the "vocal" classification on the album.

We've been discussing a change to how we use the classification. Eventually, we are going to be able to classify each track individually. Once that is in place, it makes sense for the album classifications to be determined by the composition of the track classifications, at least in part. The end result of this is that it doesn't look like it makes sense to exempt OP/EDs from a vocal classification. The discussion is still ongoing, but this looks like how the result will go.

Also, note that there are 2 places on the album page to change this classification -- one is for the album, and one is for each media. This would explain why your edit didn't show up.

[s]Then I personally believe that "rule" should be looked over.[/s]

EDIT: Got it.

EDIT 2: No strike-out BBC? Poppycock!

Technically, nearly all tracks are Drama tracks because the entire point of this release is that each track features Japanese dialogue from the show after the conclusion of the song/BGM part.

Wonder why they didn't just double the number of tracks (which wouldn't hit 99 anyway).
