I added the composer info (thanks a lot for the scans Nick G) but some things don't add up.

Masato Kouda says he did 25 tracks. He talks about 23 tracks. If you count the two arranged tracks (139, 241) that'd make 25, however I think he's just talking about single compositions so he wouldn't count these arranges.

Takayuki Iwai says he did 56 tracks, but if he talks only about 45 tracks. There are 7 unconfirmed tracks, but still that only makes 52. Maybe he's counting tracks from the home versions? (featured here)

I don't know who MTA is, any clues?

EDIT: I forgot, 240 is actually 6 tracks in one. He's probably counting them separatedly. That makes everything a lot more sensical.

It seemed there were a couple problems with the notes that I fixed (if I'm correct).

Both composers were listed for track 103. From what I can tell of the liner notes, it should be Iwai only.

Both composers were listed for track 221. From what I can tell of the liner notes, it should be Kouda only.

Let me know if there are problems with this.

Listening to this, I'd have to say that for Masato Kouda...

MK:
24) Story Demo. 3
-It has the same composition as Fetus of God, making it a prelude, despite having the generic Darkstalkers sound
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PoqauRc1nJY - Story Demo. 3
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AmU6IldCw6s - Fetus of God

25) Here Comes a New Challenger
-It not only sounds like other Kouda tracks (namely Feast of the Damned) via the organ, but it is also a "VS Demo," just like VS.. The latter can also be said for Story Demo. 3.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RcVYEwodXGs#t=1m04s - Here Comes a New Challenger
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n-_XiOHR2WY#t=1m11s - VS.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2-cCpC2KKI - Feast of the Damned

Kouda had no role in the other versions (Vampire Hunter 2, Vampire Savior 2, Vampire Savior (Console Version), the last of which can be excused because there is a definite number that has been satisfied). Therefore, the remaining 5 are Takayuki's by default.

TI:
46) Ranking Display (Same theme as Opening- Title and Player Select)
47) Story Demo. 1 (Generic Darkstalkers sound) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ttxi1CdsuXU
48) Story Demo. 2 (Bishamon-style sound) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mTbSyN0HIAM
49) Special Ending. 1 (Bishamon-style sound)
50) Special Ending. 2 (Bulleta-style sound)

The rest of the answers lie in what is basically the OST for Vampire Hunter 2, Vampire Savior 2, and Vampire Savior (Console Version): Vampire Another Selection ~The Unreleased Takes~ (http://vgmdb.net/album/3623)

"A few short months after the debut of 'Vampire Savior: Lord of the Vampire', two alternate Darkstalker games hit the arcades with different rosters." - ShiryuGL (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5pOTtW0yX5w), so despite how they are named, Savior (Arcade Version) came first, which further controls Kouda.

Here, everything is either Takayuki Iwai's or Tetsuya Shibata's

TI:
51) Dirty Beret Logo
-The only track originating from Vampire Savior, where Shibata was not involved, therefore it can only be Takayuki's. The fact that it's just an opening logo also means that it may not count towards the total.

TS:
1) Revenger's Roost - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UDN0-HKg2fo
-The clear standout, just like in Vampire Hunter. Only instead of Akari Kaida composing, it's Shibata. The rest of his themes are thus designated to Shibata.
2) Donovan Winning Theme
3) Pyron Winning Theme
-Similar to Donovan Winning Theme (via vocorder) despite generic Darkstalkers sound
--------------------Below from VS (CS), and therefore, too late chronologically to be counted with the rest)
4) Donovan Ending Theme. 1
5/0) Donovan Ending Theme. 2 (Just the "waaaaah" sound, so technically it can be credited to Takeshi Kitamura (Moe.T), but I digress)
5) Donovan Ending Theme. 3
6) Pyron Ending Theme

Donovan, however, only appears in Vampire Savior 2 (Stage and Winning themes) and Console Version (plus ending themes). Since Shibata is credited in Hunter 2, he also must have done something there.

7) Story Demo (H2) - VERY similar to Pyron Ending Theme in terms of composition
8) Phobos Winning Theme (S2) (Keeping with character-specific credits, Shibata replaced Okugawa with both Pyron and Phobos. Iwai stuck to his own)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
9) Phobos Ending Theme. 1 (Again, Phobos)
10) Phobos Ending Theme. 2 (Again, Phobos)

Back to Takayuki Iwai...
52) Opening (H2 and S2) (Generic Darkstalkers sound)
53) Player Select (H2) (Generic Darkstalkers sound)
54) Oboro Bishamon Winning Theme (Bishamon-style sound; fairly similar to Story Demo 2)
55) Ending (H2) (Generic Darkstalkers sound)
55/0) Ending (S2) (Generic Darkstalkers sound; sounds like an arrangement of Ending (H2); may not count towards total)
56) Limit Winning Theme (H2 and S2) (Definitely in his style)
56/0) Staff Roll (S2) (VERY similar to Staff Roll 2 for Vampire Hunter; may not count towards the total)
--------------------- Below from VS (CS), and therefore, too late chronologically to be counted with the rest)
59) Oboro Bishamon Ending Theme. 1 (Bishamon-style sound)
60) Oboro Bishamon Ending Theme. 2 (Bishamon-style sound)

Hey Guys. Found out who MTA is, and it came from the most unlikely source: D&D: SoM

Observe: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y4EqEvo0jcg#t=18m02s

So two more names to associate for Naoshi Mizuta
-MTA [alias]
-Mta (groovy) Nshi [variation]

Ok I remembered, 2-40 is actually 6 tracks in one. And in another interview Iwai counts them separatedly, plus he says they did 81 tracks for VS. Since there are 74 music tracks in the album + 6 in 2-40 + Dirty Beret logo (not included here, but composed for VS) = 81 (56 Iwai + 25 Kouda).

So Iwai talks about 44+6 = 50 tracks, 6 left.
There are 7 unkown tracks + Dirty Beret logo = 8.

Six are Iwai's, two Koda's. Now that makes a lot more sense, doesn't it?
For which ones, I'll leave to you pros, I'm terrible at that (tho the "VS Demo" stuff about 210/225 Kyubi posted makes sense to me).

MTA = Mizuta I guess, the track is pretty 'groovy' alright :P
