The platforms other than PSP are for PSO2, which is confirmed as beign released on Windows PC, Apple iOS (iPhone and iPad, possibly Macbooks too), Google Android phones and PlayStation Vita.
The theme song "The whole new world" is most likely a remix of the song of the same name from the first PSO (a fitting tribute if you ask me, being 10 years since the original PSO came out). I'm sure that if SEGA follows up with its soundtracks we will see a PSO2 OST. As for the composer, Hideaki Kobayashi has been the main series composer for Phantasy Star Universe and its spinoffs. Heck, he's been the Phantasy Star main series composer since PSO itself. So it would be no surprise he would have done some of the pieces. Kumatani and Tokoi have also been around since PSO and they could well have had a hand in this OST as well. |

i wonder why this took so long to come out? 1.5 years after the game's release?

Probably because a lot of tracks from PS Portable 2 Infinity were re-used from PS Portable 2 so there was now big need for a stand alone soundtrack. But now they coupled it with Phantasy Star Online 2 so here you go.

I've linked them... For now.
From a few facebook posts, it would seem Kobayashi is indeed one of the composers, and that Takenobu Mitsuyoshi sung on a song or 2. |

Should Yutaka Minobe be listed as original composer for Rose confession? http://vgmdb.net/album/397

The notes says he arranged that song and that Kobayashi was the composer.

Can you add some specific track credits to the notes? Actually, what we really need is a scan of the album's liner notes at least to validate the credits, which right now are just a bunch of names pasted into a field.

P.S.: This image isn't mine Sadly i don't have the physical album here, but according to this, they confirm Kobayashi is one of the composers and Mitsuyoshi (called Carisman of the SEGA in the article) sing "Ignite Infinity". Some other information is that the CD package include some codes for bonus items for the game. To conclude, i din't found liner notes yet. Sorry about that.

The album was recently released on streaming services, and every song is credited to Hideaki Kobayashi, besides Ignite Infinity and it's variations which are instead credited to the vocalist (Annette Marie Cotrill or Takenobu Mitsuyoshi). So I'd assume neither Fumie Kumatani or Kenichi Tokoi actually had any involvement with the game.
