Chronotorious and Super Mario Kart from OneUp Studios both have the same catalog number-- OUS-007. Shouldn't Super Mario Kart have catalog number OUS-008? Is OneUp Studios aware of this? Are they going to change it?

It could be an EP Album for example (OUS EP-07), but since I think they will sell it, so the chances of being an EP album are slim.

Still nothing going on with this album, eh?
I was listing to one of their songs (here) and I quite like the jazz style melody.

What is "the box" that people are supposed to think outside of anyway? Hmm. Maybe it's similar to the Borg from Star Trek who dwelled as a collective hive-mind within a...box/cube. Those that deviated from this hive-mind would, in effect, be thinking outside of the box. it has both a figurative and a literal meaning.

Still no definite release date. It's coming, hopefully sooner than later but you know.

Mustin's been posting preview videos every Sunday for the past three weeks, you can check them out on The OneUps' YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/TheOneUps

According to The OneUps, this album should be out by April 20th! Really looking forward to this one.

It seems like this is only going to be a digital release, when reading the topic on The OneUps' site.

That's correct. Mustin has confirmed that this album is digital only (iTunes, Amazon.com, and Bandcamp.com).

Not according to this new interview:
http://www.originalsoundversion.com/?p=9559

I'm buying this if the physical release becomes available.

Thanks for the link! Looks like our pleas for a physical release changed Mustin's mind. I'm guessing the CDs will be sold through the new website mentioned in the interview.

This is good news indeed!

I was looking for the physical release on the TheBadDudes homepage, but didn't find it there. It's a bit confusing where to look for it: OneUpStudios, TheBadDudes, somewhere else?!?!

A new website. A new music video. A reprint of Volume 1 & 2. And an actual physical CD! -Mustin

We’ll be launching with the new website made by Mazedude, and will have a reprint of our previous albums available as a the two-disc Volume 1&2 Combo Pack. No secret tracks, and radio edits on some of the Volume 2 Disc 2 tracks, but it’s still two CDs jam-packed with tunes. Check it out in our store on our new site come May 4 2010. -Mustin
The impression that I got is that a new website specifically for Super Mario Kart will be released soon and the CD will be for sale there. I don't think they are accepting pre-orders at the moment. We'll just have to wait for May 4th to find out!

Album is available now!

Digital only:
http://www.amazon.com/Super-Mario-Ka...00724&sr=301-1

Digital & Physical:
http://theoneups.bandcamp.com/album/...rio-kart-album
http://www.theoneups.com/

If you order the physical CD from BandCamp then you can download the tracks as well. It's like a 2-for-1!

Someone should change the media format to "CD, Digital". I can't since it's not a "CTRL+Click" type of window.

We can't have multiple media format for the same "disc".

I swapped the entry to CD since it's available on CD with a short note that it's also available digitally.
Not sure if it's worth to make a child entry for the digital version unless both releases are differents.

So, what does VGMdb think of this album now that it's been out for some time?

When did you order it? And from where. Though, I did order it on 4th (at Bandcamp's site), so I probably did get into the first batch of shipments.

I imagine they're not going through an official distributor, so might be a little slow getting things sent off.

I got mine today and love it. It's a bit to tranquil for my taste - but it's nevertheless a great arrangement album.

Received my copy today. It's a decent album but not as good as e.g. CHRONOTORIOUS.
Like Lucy already stated, it's pretty "chilled out" except for one or two tracks - either you like that or not.

Plus I don't know the source tunes

Agreed with LiquidAcid that it is merely decent and not up to par with The OneUps major albums. I didn't like Chronotorious either though -- too fanboy-oriented.
