US title or JP title?
I was browsing the site and I noticed that you didn't have the Ryuuko No Ken soundtracks for some reason... well, they weren't under that name. Whoever added the OSTs, added them using the American / European name for the game.
Example: http://www.vgmdb.net/db/albums.php?id=2205 I'm not sure what's going on, but every other SNK release on the site has the Japanese game title in the album name instead of the American one. Was this a mistake? I added the Romanized album names to both AOF 2 albums, but I want to make sure I didn't goof up. |

Usually when the Western title differs from the romanized title it boils down to a judgement call as to which version is more well known to our audience. But it's fine the way you've edited them.

... So I should change them so they have the original Japanese title, then?

I think the English game name is preferable for the first line, since that's how most people know the game (and the album). Luckily, every line in the title is searchable, so searches on Ryuuko no Ken will find these albums just as easily as Art of Fighting.

Well I can tell you, nobody really cares about the games in America. I'd turn them back to the Japanese title because that's the name printed on the album, and for consistency, because most every other SNK title in the database is in Japanese.
But that's just me. |
