I don't think this should be a bootleg. :/

It's my understanding that these are fan-made and not authorized/licensed by Sony (who supposedly has the rights to this soundtrack).

Doesn't that count as a bootleg?

I am kinda confused with all the meaning of bootleg. as far as I know (and maybe I am wrong, but that is how I have seen all this years :/) bootleg is picking up music from already released cds and sell it unofficially.

Because this is recording on audio cassette, I am kinda confused if it should be bootleg or not.
Like I said , I am kinda confused.
Its a limited edition thing and made in a very collectors way. You see my point? :/

The VGMDB definition of bootleg seems to be this: "Unauthorized reproductions or compilations without any original content, sold by a business entity."

It doesn't matter what format it is - both CD, cassettes, vinyl records, etc. can be bootlegged and sold unofficially. And as stated above it doesn't sound like the people who are doing these cassettes have the license to officially release this soundtrack, which is why I would consider it a bootleg.

Maybe you are right. That "Limited edition" throws me of though,

From the bandcamp description, I would agree with rpbtz here. Especially this part: "Finding a physical copy of this game's soundtrack is extremely hard to do and is also heavy on your wallet, so we decided to offer a cassette version of this album for a cheap price." Makes me wonder how this is even allowed on bandcamp.

I don't see how the fact that this is limited would matter, and probably we shouldn't use it for a bootleg anyway.

Maybe this is obvious, but should deleted Bandcamp entries (the account seems to be gone) still be kept here for historical purposes?
