As I do not have much time at the moment to really work better on the translatons for the "Tracks Index" I would apreciate some one to update those parts in which are really well translated.
As I said before, I have no time to actually do it. I am sorry for not having more time to really dedicate myself better in this. Let me know by pm if you need something from the booklet. Can't add scans yet as I need to ask a freind for it. Last edited by RomanticScent; Aug 7, 2012 at 01:57 PM. |

"Burn-Up" isn't quite right for the title of this album, as it has an extra ル at the end. That makes it more like "Burn-Upple" or "Burn-Apple." Not entirely sure what kind of joke they're trying to make.

I wa snot sure too. :/
I wrote, Burn Nappuru..... but it got rescribed. I do not get the joke too in that. I have not yet listen the cd, so we might get the joke there. :/

Burn-Upper?

Maybe, but "upper" would usually be アッパー, not アップル.

アップル?
You mean "ナップル", right?

I'm gonna delete romanized title until this gets sorted out.

It sounds like a shortening of Burn-UP scramble.

^^^^^ Yeah, could be.
Nah, in that post I was talking about the word "upper" by itself. The important part is that the "pper" sound in "upper" is usually ッパー, not ップル. The Japanese title runs the n into the word "up"; instead of "burn up" as separate words (バーン アップ), it's more like "burn-nup." I was ignoring that to focus on the word. In the style of the title, "burn-upper" would be like バーンナッパー. |

Understood your previous issue now.
I have been looking to teh cd and nothing logical comes to my mind. But I thought of something, maybe I heard or read in some place that was wrong, but ... does "Napple Talk" means anything to you? Because I am sure I heard o read that somewhere- :/

it's common in jap to have that sort of thing and honestly I wonder why they added a "n" Last edited by Phonograph; Aug 8, 2012 at 02:24 AM. |

Do japanese do that often?
I mean, this is not the first time you guys see something like this?

Well, I think that サントラ is the obvious example where they take a borrow word and shorten it in a way that we find weird to say.

Never thought of that one.
Makes more sense now.
