When A Composer Has a 'Ghost Composer'...
Hello Everyone,
I just came across this article about Mamoru Samuragochi, hwo apparently composed some of the Resident Evil music... http://www.nzherald.co.nz/world/news...ectid=11198233 Basically, it states that he hired a 'ghost composer' for many of his compositions. This post is not to debate the ethics of using a ghost writer or being a fraud (separate discussion). Rather, it is to ask who we handle this when listing composers in database entries. So... any ideas on how to handle 'ghost composers'when they are discovered?...

you wonder if credits should be changed?
maybe a mention in the notes, it doesn't change the fact the booklet still has info tho |

^ Yeah, I don't link artists that are listed erroneously in booklets. I mention the error in the notes and link the correct artist.
Regarding this specific case, though, I think it's too early to be editing anything. |
