Romanizations and translations in album titles
Just a quick question to be sure.
The current policy is to avoid literal translations in titles and use the romanization (or the official english name), except for subtitles that are usually translated, correct? I want to be sure before I start editting direct translations that don't seem to be official, for example: Kirby of the Stars Justice High School Mamoru Has Been Cursed! and such. Or should I make a note before I edit stuff, to let other people know and discuss? Last edited by Dag; Feb 7, 2010 at 01:53 AM. |

We've been slowly correcting some of these game titles that were translated literally in the past. We're in a good position, and possibly even have a mandate, to fix many of these common errors. If you're unsure for any particular title though, then I recommend opening a discussion first.
