Default Is this CD a bootleg?

I just got this CD from an ebay seller.
http://vgmdb.net/album/15661
I looked at the back of the disc and it had a burn ring on it like it was copied.

The catalog number is actually printed on the CD CPDA-10061

Also I looked at the audio creation date and it says this

Is this legit or no? Anyone have a copy to compare?
It has the Capcom logo and everything on the disc like the one in the DB

To confirm, you got only the CD, not the artbook+CD combo?

I don't own it, but it's *possible?* that the CD back could look like that and the album still be legit.

I don't know about the audio creation date. Seems to be a default when the info isn't otherwise populated (search the date and time on google).

When I looked at the picture I could tell that was a CD with a short running length, so I checked the album entry and, yeah, it's half an hour long. I've noticed that on other short CDs too. Nothing to worry about.

That's what I was thinking but I though CDs like these would not be burned but "pressed". I guess I'm wrong. =P

It surely is pressed. It must be some byproduct of the process somehow. I have no knowledge of the finer points of CD production to know how it would happen but I've seen it on store-bought popular music.

Looks legit, but bootlegging does indeed happen, so always good to be be on guard for that sort of thing. Had that happen with an FFIV OST a few years ago, but the give away was the cheap quality CD case and inserts.

Bummer if one ever gets burned with a fake, CDR' s don't last forever...
