There is new music at least from the three DLC expansions this one includes. I haven't seen any staff roll specific to them though, this edition may be the first to change the listing to reflect the additions.
Edit: Both are credited again for the new parts.

Is this from a limited edition? Any idea if this will be released in North America? I would guess no, judging from their track record...

Is this version better than the first? Do the 2 OST discs have the tracks' full versions?

Somebody else said they would, but IDK if that's accurate.

Its a guess. But with the dlc music i,m not sure anymore. Cd 1 is maybe the same disc with the cut songs. And cd 2 has the dlc music. Hopefully the full songs.

Is the trailer song by Stroinski perhaps included? Likely not, just asking though...

Although no one knows yet, that's possible and quite a disappointment it would be...
DS II has many tracks and it would require a 3 CD set release to be decent

Seems like Kitamura did all the DLC/First Sin exclusive stuff, according to the staff roll.

Like others before you are falling for the grouping by company sorting that staff rolls tend to use. Kitamura as a FROM employee is in that section, Sakuraba, Emi Evans etc. as freelancers appear much later: http://youtu.be/jxK9ygIxVII#t=176

(Still waiting for someone to claim Shiina did all of Zestiria since Sakuraba no longer appears as part of the BN Studios staff. =P)

Whoops, didn't stick around long enough to see Sakuraba. Hopefully this soundtrack clarifies both of their new roles.

Thanks MiLO. Unfortunate that they again don't bother with per track credits, but at least there's some nice art!

They used a Tales of Xillia theme for Ex-Dungeon Boss and they used some of his themes from other Tales for costumes (not arranged).

BTW, Do we know who composed what in the DLCs themes?

No, but it does sounds like both Sakuraba and Kitamura wrote new stuff. (although I'd lean on Kitamura composing most of it)

Haruka Shimotsuki is also listed in the credits and vocal performer - is that her singing in Milfanito?

Just noticed that MusicBrainz has all of the DLC tracks credited to Sakuraba exclusively... anyone know where this info comes from?

In the end credits it lists Yuka Kitamura specifically for Scholar of the First Sin, while Motoi Sakuraba is credited for the original Dark Souls II. I would think that would mean she composed all SotFS exclusive stuff ("Aldia, Scholar of the First Sin", "Nowhere", "Remains", and "Sin and Crowns").

That's wrong. Same as for the original credits (as discussed earlier in this very thread) also in the SotFS specific credits both are credited, again just not in the same section as Yuka Kitamura is part of FROM Software and Motoi Sakuraba is a freelancer.
