Probably 2 CDs worth of original Hamauzu material and 2 CDs worth of FF arrangements (by other artists).

Four discs of new (or at least of new arrangements) Hamauzu? Sign me up! I'm pretty stoked for the game itself because I love the art direction and most of the cutesy FF things that have come out, but now I'm more excited for this release, honestly.

And 50 tracks would come out to, like you said, about 2 discs more or less.
So the question becomes - who are the other composers and arrangers that make up the remaining 2 discs? |

Ryo Yamazaki has been confirmed to be a composer on this one.

There's also Shingo Kataoka from TOSE, who is credited as BGM composer & arranger. TOSE is handling sound and music for this game.
The sound team appears in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ljJvU9p2NCQ (at 5:37 you can see TOSE BGM director Kenjiro Kato, sound manipulator Masato Nakamura, and Shingo Kataoka) Ryo Yamazaki composed the opening song, "Innocent²", and the ending song "World Parade" was composed by noisycroak's Ryo Shirasawa. So now we have the full composer credits from Square Enix's official announcement:
Masashi Hamauzu (Monomusik) / Shingo Kataoka, Hayata Takeda, Takashi Honda (TOSE) / Ryo Yamazaki (Square Enix) / Ryo Shirasawa (noisycroak) http://www.square-enix.co.jp/music/sem/page/woff/ |

Hey, I was wondering if someone would help translate the tracklist. I've already made some progress here but it's not complete. I've named them similar to how the tracks on the game's LE are named, but replaced the Japanese names with Western ones where applicable.
Note that I'm still fairly early in the game itself. |

I assume there will be an English tracklist once the SE's iTunes version goes live.

It's getting an iTunes release? Neat, didn't know that. If that's true I may have to go cancel my Amazon order.

Some tracks are mistakenly credited to Nobuo Uematsu as original composition, such as 3-27, 4-09, 4-11 and 4-14 in the booklet.

How can they put something as big and important as the tracklist and barcode on an obi without gluing or taping it to the box?
