The 'Phoenix Wright' alternate titles are, while useful, somewhat misleading here since the original GBA games were never released in the west (and hence never referred to by those titles). Those titles really only refer to the NDS ports of the games, both of which were released in the west. The same is true for the third game in the series as well.

Although I believe that all the music present here is also present in the NDS ports (not vice versa, however), the sound certainly differs between the two. In fact, if you're a fan of the music from the NDS version I would really have a hard time recommending you to purchase this - the GBA sound is just that bad in comparison.

Wouldn't Gyakuten Saiban (for tracks 1 & 3) still translate to 'turnabout courtroom' ?

So is this the only OST for the second game? There doesn't seem to be a listing for the DS version of the soundtrack (perhaps as there was no new music in the remake?)

Yes, everything you say is correct.

The DS ports for Justice for All and Trials and Tribulations remain the only Ace Attorney games for which there have been no official soundtrack releases.
