A recent edit changed まてこの野郎 from "Rascal of Mateko" to "Hold it, Punk!",

Where does this come from? Is this some title from a soundtest, or is this an unusual Japanese idiom?

Also, please explain your tracklist edits when they aren't simply cosmetic changes. That's what these discussion threads are for.

The old translation was just flat out wrong, though.

The phrase is grammatically wrong. It should be "まてっ, この野郎!" It's a phrase shouted by Kunio's teammates when he is struck by a dodgeball by a rival captain in the game's intro.

"Mate" is the imperative form of "matsu" (to wait), but in this context it's ordering a perpetrator to stop. "Kono yarō" is a derogatory way of calling someone out ("this punk", "this bastard"). "Yarō" is defined as "rascal" in most Japanese-English dictionaries, but it's not a really suitable translation in this context.

Change the tracklist based on official announcement (http://www.hamster.co.jp/orga/060327.htm).

If the order on the official site is correct, this CD might be "HOGC-0013". I've checked listings of Surugaya and the order on the official homepage does seems to be in synch with what's on Surugaya.

http://www.hamster.co.jp/orga/
First row: HOGD-0001C~0004C [DVD] / HOGC-0001~0004 [CD] (0003, 0004)
Second row: 0005~0008 (0008)
Third row: 0009~0012 (0011)
Fourth row: 0013~0016 (0015, 0016)
Fifth row: 0017~0019
