Personally, I think albums like this should be separated into 2 entries. I feel the same about that recent Touhou soundtrack. In both those entries, it's clearly two albums being lumped into one entry. They have separate cases and covers, etc.

The current guidelines for enclosure albums work well, but I think we should also look at them on a case-by-case basis. In some cases, separating the albums is more logical than grouping them together.

I would like to hear your thoughts on this.

it depends, if you can get KSLA-0134 without KSLA-0135 or inversely, so ok it could be split
but if you can't get KSLA-0134 without KSLA-0135 so no, it mustn't be split

I think it's more logical to split them and view them as separate enclosures.
I felt the same about the Koei-Tecmo Treasure Boxes, where you basically have soundtrack CDs, Blu-rays, arrange albums, in a single entry.
It really depends what you consider the unique key of the database and in my opinion it's not possible to hold enclosure items to the same standard as retail items (CDs), as long as we don't catalog game releases these enclosures belong to.
One indication for splitting an entry up may also be when the game description or official website states there are several bonus items 1,2,3,etc.

I think it is fine to list these as separate entries. I think there are some cases in the past where we have done this.

Okay, sounds good.

I assume that this also applies to entries similar to this one (like the one mentioned by Teioh).

The "mash albums that you can only receive together into one entry" strategy is nice in that it doesn't require any additional code, but there's gotta be a more logical way to group album sets together and give separately packaged albums separate entries.

Maybe an extra bundling interface where you can group albums together, and when you try to add one to your collection it gives you a suggestion to automatically add the rest? Maybe with enforcement that all albums in the bundle have the same release date and price.

There's plenty of suggested features that would be nice to have, but it's a matter of finding someone to write the code in their free time.

For now, I've simply added a note at the bottom of the entry.

Not sure where the composition and arrangement credits come from, but these are the ones from the booklet:

Quote:
Composed & Arranged by
Ryo Mizutsuki (1,4,5,6,7,10,11,12,13)
Shinji Orito (2,3,8,9,14)
Tomohiro Takeshita (15)
