Here's something pro internet researcher Blah found a while back.
So the internet agrees that Magome Togoshi = STB. I couldn't actually verify this, because he seems to have done a good job of keeping to "STB" just for the STB-lab doujin works, but it seems to be common wisdom. STB-lab's site used to be located here: http://www.beta.or.jp/~stb/. The root page of that server links to that page with the name 北爪克尚, Katsuhisa Kitazume. That name does actually appear on a few early STB-lab releases, too. Check the back scans of With Heart III and Release the Seal, the name's at the very bottom in the organization information. Here's someone's old guestbook: http://www3.big.or.jp/~fujikko/kiyok...i-bin/list.cgi. There's a comment by 北爪 'STB' 克尚, whose homepage (after a redirect) is archived: http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://...ac.jp/%7Ekita/. His profile says he was born in June 1974 in Yokohama, Kanagawa. STB's old profile says he was born in June 197x in Kanagawa. Katsuhisa Kitazume = STB. So Katsuhisa Kitazume = Magome Togoshi? I found Katsuhisa Kitazume credited for sound in the 2007 DS game Mensetsu no Tatsujin: Tenshoku-hen: http://www.geocities.jp/bgrtype/gsl/...utenshoku.html. Togoshi apparently went freelance in 2006 (although according to his Twitter bio, he now works for a network/IT company?). |

Incidentally, the name of his new circle is Super Togoshi Blend, but I suspect that's a backronym and not necessarily what it always stood for. |
