This could be really awesome or really redundant and unnecessary.

Hoping for the former.

If it's as good as Falcom Boss Zanmai, it's gonna be really awesome, for sure.

Please Falcom arrange 'A Great Ordeal' and make it sound new and fresh.

Sample by Falcom.

Tracklist:

- The Depth Napishtim
- Final Battle + The Last Moment of the Dark
- A Premonition =Styx=
- The Dawn of Ys
- Crimson Wings
- Promalock (Best Town Theme Ever)
- Final Decisive Battle
- The Ruined City Kishgal
- Feena (not again!)

Edit: I added a temporal tracklist.

I don't think we should ever add any "temporal" tracklist in an entry unless it is complete.
Due to the fact we can't add or modify the order of the tracks once the tracklist is entered, and only a new tracklist can solve the problem.

The Promarock arrange was cut from the same funky rock as Boss Zanmai's "Evil Shaman" complete with dueling guitar and saxophone. Sounds just as fun as Yonemitsu's energetic take on the original!

Doesn't make much sense to already have the album sitting in my shelf and have it released barely within a month from the time of typing this, does it?

For albums that are pre-released in events (limited) I think the consensus was to use the official street date.
Amazon and co still says Feb 28, though I think it's on Falcom's e-shop. So... dunno?

This album is so amazing. Why the low rating? Are there too many Ys arrange albums? Are these tracks similar to other arrangements? At least as a newcomer to Ys I love this album after one listen.

It's fantastic alright, the only track that I don't like is #6, the rest are great.

These arrangements are fairly modern interpretations in style compared with other Ys arrange albums, so it's not like they're repeats.

Haha, I'm the opposite here. I actually really enjoy that one, and don't like most of the others quite as much.

EDIT -- I posted something dumb. My thoughts on track origins were as follows:

Ys VI 01 THE DEPTH NAPISHTIM 5:02
Ys (I) 02 THE LAST MOMENT OF THE DARK - FINAL BATTLE 4:53
Ys III 03 A PREMONITION =STYX= 4:31
Ys IV: Dawn of Ys 04 THE DAWN OF YS 4:56
Ys IV: Dawn of Ys 05 CRIMSON WINGS 4:09
Celceta 06 CASNAN, THE FRONTIER TOWN 3:52
Celceta 07 LAST DECISIVE BATTLE 3:10
Ys VI 08 THE RUINED CITY "KISHGAL" 4:41
Ys (I) 09 FEENA

But then Phonograph pointed out to me that the back cover cites specific releases. So that's definitely the way to go.

*rescinds previous post*

That certainly makes sense. Thanks!
