Very interesting. Did any copies of this ever make it to Ebay or anywhere else?

I was one that actually liked Ultima IX. I wish they would make another =(

I'm a much more old-school Ultima fan myself, though I did play IX, but my save got corrupted not too far from the end.

Yeah many bugs =( Luckily they eventually released patchmania.

I actually beat it eventually. It was one of those games that blew my mind away graphically and gameplay-wise. Maybe because I was young dude back then, but I didn't think it deserves its bad reputation.

Interesting note: Field let a VGM blogger host the soundtrack here to share. It's a neat little rarity, so Ultima fans may want to grab it while they can.
