This man's name is really pronounced "Masami Sakaide" 坂出雅海(さかいでまさみ). Source: http://www.makigami.com/hikashu/member2.html
Turns out he's a guy. Maybe it would be nice to add that info to his profile too, as it can be confusing with a name like this (a picture would be even better of course)

He did arrangements for:

All Sounds of Sorcerian: http://vgmdb.net/db/albums.php?id=355

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF 2049 1 FILE ~ 3.8 Million Kilometers Void: http://vgmdb.net/db/albums.php?id=5568
(wrongly credited as Masumi Sakaide)

Lagoon: http://vgmdb.net/db/albums.php?id=5600
(wrongly credited as Masae Sakaide)

Psychic Detective Series - The Best:

(wrongly credited as Masaumi Sakaide)

Man, his name's all over the place

Wow, so all of these different spellings are just incorrect romanizations of 坂出雅海, or are some of them actually written in English on some official sites? If the latter is true, then we can also add some of the misspellings as a alternative names.

Anyway, the artist page is all linked up with all of those albums now. Thanks for doing the background research on this one.

I think the main culprit here is the English Wikipedia page of Hikashu (the music collective Sakaide belonged to).

I already linked to the Hikashu offical page in my previous post, but it clearly says さかいでまさみ there. The Japanse Wikipedia page for the band has the same transcription, but the English page transcribes his name as "Masaumi Sakaide" instead. I got zero hits searching for the kana rendition of that in Japanese pages. The same goes for the other variants.

Assuming this page: http://www.amrta.co.jp/event/04_3_30.htm is correct this info seems pretty solid to me.

I didn't find any other authoritive English sites that mention one of the variant names. There's always the possibility there was a misprint (or misprints) on one of the actual abums he contributed to though.
