You're a saint, thank you. They really dropped the ball with composer / arranger credits this time around - harder than they usually do.

I found one typo in the composer/track breakdown section.
Under the Comrades section, it says: 牧野忠義 Tadayoshi Makino: 33, 36, 337 But the "337" should be "37". Last edited by Chris Porter; Apr 3, 2018 at 06:11 PM. |

In case anyone else has trouble figuring out how to get the mp3s off the blu ray, you actually have to get all 127 mp3 files off Disc 2 of this set! Disc 1 has no menu option for transferring music over a home network; it is only for playback.
If you're using a PS4, also make sure the "BD-LIVE" option is enabled in the network settings.

I have transcribed the e-onkyo credits only where they differ from the official credits. The bolded credits show major conflicting information!
As with the FFXV OST, these credits reveal a lot about arrangement and therefore responsibility. These credits paint a very different picture of who actually did what. The major take-away: EPISODE GLADIOLUS: Tetsuya Shibata did 5 of 8 tracks. EPISODE PROMTO: Yoshitaka Suzuki did the vast majority. EPISODE IGNIS: Tadayoshi Makino did the vast majority. COMRADES: Yoshitaka Suzuki, Tsutomu Narita, and Tadayoshi Makino basically evenly split the work. Royal Pack: Yoshitaka Suzuki did the vast majority. Extra story tracks: Yoshitaka Suzuki did the majority. MONSTER OF THE DEEP: Tetsuya Shibata did 9 of 14 tracks. Note that the order of composers in co-composed tracks are very specific. ===== DISC 1 ===== 106 Battle on the Big Bridge (EPISODE GLADIOLUS Version) Composed by Nobuo Uematsu, arranged by Keiichi Okabe 107 Of Muscle and Mettle Composed by Yoko Shimomura, arranged by Tetsuya Shibata 108 Scar on My Pride Composed by Nobuo Uematsu, arranged by Tetsuya Shibata 110 Prompto's Solitude Composed by Naoshi Mizuta, arranged by Yoshitaka Suzuki 111 Beckoned by Darkness Composed by Yoko Shimomura, arranged by Yoshitaka Suzuki 118 The Fire Within Composed by Naoshi Mizuta, arranged by Takuro Iga 120 Moving Forward Composed by Naoshi Mizuta, arranged by Yoshitaka Suzuki 131 Choosing Hope - City of Light Composed by Nobuo Uematsu, arranged by Tsutomu Narita 138 COMRADES Fanfare Composed by Nobuo Uematsu, arranged by Yoshitaka Suzuki 139 Cheers! - Adjusted track times to BD source (no major issues +/- 0~3s)
- Removed both original tracklists to add a new one for Disc 2. Added the Piano Collections FINAL FANTASY XV -夜に満ちる律べ- Concert 2017.6.2 Osaka tracks because they are also part of the BD. They are technically the first title on Disc 2 but the website has them listed after the bonus tracks so I kept that order the same. - Fixed some slight formatting differences between the website and the inserts - Added full insert information - Added and linked performers - Added and linked engineers. Worth noting: As detailed as these insert credits are, they are surprisingly thin in detailing track responsibility. As Jormungand pointed out, all of the track arrangement credits are actually from the website credits and not the insert credits. The inserts don't give any great detail about who arranged what other than general statements. Also, they just lazily copied the Piano Collections Final Fantasy XV credits from that release to this release. Hiroyuki Nakayama is the performer in the BD video performance, none of the other 3 ever perform anything, so they should not really be credited. Yuki Takahiro in the ROYAL EDITION Solo Cello credit is almost certainly a print error for Takahiro Yuki Mika Toyoda in the ROYAL EDITION Theme Song "Choosing Hope" credit is almost certainly a print error for Maki Toyoda There are a few performers that are shared between Oshikane Strings and Manabe Strings and I don't think we can add a unique artist twice, or associated an artist on a single release to multiple groups. The e-onkyo credits do not list arrangers for all tracks. Is this because the composers also did the arrangements or is this info simply not available?

Donna Burke should be credited as the lyricist for "Choosing Hope" since Final Fantasy XV Official Works credited her as such:
Spoiler:
And her website as well https://www.donnaburke.com/aboutdonnaburke Last edited by Eidolon2010; Apr 19, 2022 at 03:34 AM. |
