Default What are these catalog numbers?

This is not the first time I see this catalog number on ebay which start with bdcd.. Usually sold for high price.

cds look nice, but I'm pretty sure they're bootlegs.

any idea??

the catalog number appears on the second image:

I don't know anything about this release specifically, but "Not Moonshake" = bootleg.

Moonshake is a bootleg video game music vinyl label. Other bootleggers started using "Not Moonshake" on eBay listings for bootleg game music records so they would show up whenever people search Moonshake.

For this particular release the lack of any official company info on the release is probably giveaway enough in itself that it's a bootleg.

It's interesting that there is no publisher info on these. Maybe the publisher wants to make money without getting busted?

For fun, I messaged the eBay seller and asked if he/she is the publisher (and if not, where they got the soundtrack from in the first place). I'll post here if I hear anything.

The seller responded quickly with:

"It emerged from a private release some time ago . That's about as much as I know about it."
