...what is this? I don't recognize those tracks from the Project .hack games we have listed as the products represented. Did they just give the tracks different names?

.hack//ZERO Vol.1 ファントム・ペイン is the title for one of the .hack fiction.

And this one, I have never heard the 5 vocal songs in the game, but well I never completed the third episode of G.U.

According some info I gathered, the disc contains arrangement with Tomoyo Mitani as chorus

Ah, okay, I would bet on prototype/unused tracks over songs actually in the games.

Edit: In this case maybe soundtrack too, track 1 for example is listen at the beginning of .hack//infection, it's the poem of twilight recited in german with emma's voice. I'm pretty sure that 3 or 4 tracks was listen in the games.

I'd say that these are more like tracks that never made it to the official soundtrack for the quadrilogy.

Tracks 1, 2, and 4 are definitely in the 4 games. They're all on the gamerip and obviously play in game. I'm not so sure about the others, and in the case of the Orca track, he really wasn't around in the game for such a thing to be played. So perhaps music from one of the dramas or something? Did this disc come with any information?

Hey what's good Despair, glad to see you made it to vgmdb. As for any additional info that might have come with the CD, I think it's unlikely because usually these's no booklet or anything with these CDs, they are just sealed inside of paper/plastic sleeve within a magazine.

The only info from this album came in the magazine, you can see here in a bad image , in japanese of course.

Yeah, the images seem to have something that goes along with it. Anybody around here able to translate? It'd be nice to know where exactly these tracks show up. And for the other special soundtracks from the mags.

"最果ての剣" is the name of Orca's sword, in the English localization it's called "Ends of Earth." I'm assuming that they meant "Ends of the Earth," but it probably had to be shortened due to character limitations.
