Well, what there is to say... An absolutely outstanding album that plays It very safe with the tracklist, featuring a roster of legendary tracks, the most immediately recognizable and hummable from the fans. This cuts the fat and strikes to the core: half the first disc is Beast (Whittaker & Wright), half the second Is Turrican *II* (Huelsbeck). Brimble, Leitch, Follin and other fan favorites abound. Stellar presentation.
With this and the (almost opposite in philosophy, searching every nook and cranny for the most forgotten, obscure tracks) Amiga Power album, one can say that at least concerning Amiga music, the 2020 delivered. |

What track did You Takada compose? I don't see his name in the notes.

"Golden Axe" is credited to David Whittaker in the album, as he did the outstanding Amiga soundtrack. It is not however, (unlike the other pieces selected for this compilation such as Led Storm, Final Fight, R-Type or Ghouls 'n Ghosts) an original composition, but a straight arrangement from the coin-op music. Hence why we should add Takada.

Dunno? Better arrange, thematically, leaving each disc the "air" to breathe and be listened, instead of going for massive pile of 80minutes aural data? Or maybe they weren't sure to crowdfund the complete package?
