Build That Wall + Setting Sail, Coming Home (Bastion Cover)
Some friends and I did a cover of "Build That Wall" and "Setting Sail, Coming Home" from Bastion. I'd love to hear what you guys think of it.

That was amazing! All the memories. Listening to you play, I could really remember meeting Zia, and Zulf, and playing through the game! Those are some great singing voices too!

I would've loved, during "Build That Wall," a solo section to make it your own and really pull it away from the original (the first minute is like, note-for-note, the same song). What you do in the latter half is good, but "Build That Wall" is such a good bluesy-jam, some slow scat singing or an instrumental solo would've improved it.
In any case, I'm REALLY impressed with the videography and kinda shocked this vid doesn't have more views. |
